That time forever tolls
For eons taking one by one
What everyone beholds

The sounds of thousands of lives
Crippled beneath the drowning sands
They strip you far from here
Eyes closed
And ears clouded
By the fear of the unknown
But I am witness to something bright
Is it the power never shown?
Is He beyond the colored surface?
Back behind the black and the white?
